2012 was the first year for the month stretched festival, Manali Summer Sundowners, and it covered a variety of genres from aural sets to full blown rock music. The occasion also saw some film screenings and photography walks to broaden the message of responsible tour and concert tourism. Shows by the local artists along with some of India’s famous bands like Rock Veda, Highway 61, Rishi Inc, Ashwamedh, Fbi-The Verbal Prophetz, Hundred Octane, Kaash, The Mangalz, Astitva and many more  has occurred at the Ram Bagh Amphitheatre, The Mall Manali.
